Why a full-service agency in a four-colour world chooses to think in two. On ink, honesty, and the discipline of leaving colour out.

Colour is a wonderful liar. It can make a weak idea look finished, a borrowed thought look original, a shrug look like a strategy.
So at Feswa we start every idea in black and white. If a concept can hold a room armed with nothing but ink, it has earned its colours — and often it turns out it never needed them.
The pen is a lie detector
A hand-drawn line has no autocomplete. Every wobble is a decision, every cross-hatch a commitment. When we sketch a brand before we mock it up, the weak ideas die politely on paper instead of expensively in the market.
Spread all over
Monochrome is not minimalism. Our pages are loud, crowded, moustachioed and alive — black, white and spread all over. Restraint in colour buys you extravagance everywhere else.
That's the trade we make every day. We think it's a bargain.
